But Diana Agron can sing

There were definitely good points and bad points. 

- The fact that Finn told Rachel that he loves her even though they haven’t actually been in a relationship was little forced. I feel like the writers were trying to keep fans interested in those two being together. Also, those two looked super awkward at the end while Mr. Schue was singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”

-“To Sir With Love” was incredible and I loved that they had different people harmonizing together (especially Finn and Mercedes)

-I feel like Shelby adopting Beth that we will be seeing more of Idina next season? Definitely not a bad thing. 

-Josh Groban was hilarious as was Jane Lynch

Why you gots to be hatin’ on Glee?

I’ve seen some people saying that it’s refreshing that you turned down Ryan Murphy and Co. on the use of your music but I disagree. 

They want to use your music. Most people should! And you should take that as a compliment and not a hassle. You’re a talented group of men who have reaped musical accolades. Nobody can deny that your songs are amazing and when they come on at a bar near closing, they rank with Bon Jovi as loud as hell, amazing sing a long by bar patrons.  

But this show is a Golden Globe, People’s Choice and SAG Award winner. They were nominated for 19 Emmy awards this year. They have sung at the White House. They produced a sold-out tour just like you. They have sold over seven million copies of Glee cast single releases digitally. In 2009 alone, they cast had 25 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 which is the most since The Beatles in 1964. The motherfucking Beatles. All of the cast does their own singing - it’s not like the pretty people are mouths for professional singers in the background. 

To hear that you allowed Gossip Girl to use your music in 2008 when it was still in it’s infancy is great and all because I like that show as well, but can you actually deny the success of Glee and say you’d be selling out? That’s fucking ridiculous. 

I’ll leave you with two final points:

1. Coldplay (who has seen similar success to KoL) pulled a similar stunt but now is allowing the use of their catalogue. What does that say about making this decision? Basically, you’re going to look like huge tools when you change your mind. 

2. Paul McCartney is a fan and is lobbying for some of The Beatles music to be on the show. Take a fucking hint.
